About BSA
Club Policies
* Conduct and Sportsmanship Policy All players, parents, family members, and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all Bridgewater Soccer Academy events, including games, practices, tournaments, training sessions, and club functions. Players, parents, and spectators must not engage with referees regarding decisions, calls, or the conduct of a match. Respect for officials is a fundamental expectation of participation in our club. Appropriate language, behavior, and sportsmanship are required at all times. Every member of the Bridgewater Soccer Academy community represents the club and should conduct themselves as ambassadors of the organization both on and off the field. Any behavior that is disrespectful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise inconsistent with the values of Bridgewater Soccer Academy may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension from club activities, or removal from the program. * Player Pass Policy As a club, we do not permit BSA player passes to be handed out to families to be utilized to participate in games and/or tournaments with competing programs in the local area. Unfortunately, several of these competing programs have actively recruited our players in the past and, in some cases, encouraged families to walk away from their commitments and deposits in order to join their club. As a result, we have implemented this policy to protect our players, teams, and the integrity of our program. We will never stand in the way of players wanting additional opportunities to play soccer. However, competing programs that wish to involve players from our program have the option to secondary card those players through their own registration process and thereby allow the player to play with them under a secondary card. It is unfortunate that this policy has become necessary, but it is a direct result of past behavior by competing programs. We remain committed to supporting our players while ensuring that all clubs operate with professionalism and respect for one another. * Deposit Policy Players who accept a roster spot with Bridgewater Soccer Academy are required to pay a deposit to secure their place on the team. This deposit is non-refundable. Acceptance of a roster position represents a commitment by both the player and the club. Once a player accepts an offer and submits a deposit, those funds are used to support team formation, staffing, league registrations, tournament planning, and other operational expenses. Should a player choose to leave the club after accepting an offer and paying the deposit, the deposit will not be refunded, regardless of the reason for departure.
